The booking policies are poor. The sign says vacancy, but the person working the desk says there isn't a vacancy. On the phone, I was told that only the family suite was available, that everything else was booked. I reluctantly accepted it, and the lady said if any other room came available, she would move my booking. Didn't happen. It's now after 6pm, and almost no one is here. There must be truth somewhere here. Be careful dealing with these folks, and don't accept the family suite.
UPDATE - 9/3/2016- Our Room was Clean Enough EXCEPT for the BathTub! %p Yucky tho! I Will Say that it was Possibly Stained!? But, UnAcceptable, in My Opinion!
I stay at Katahdin Valley Motel every time I come to Maine to visit. I love it there.
Decent basic motel, one of the very few along I95. However, I was stuck with the family suite at a high price. It contains a washer/dryer, but the washer is really noisy. Hope there is no one next door. The TV has no signal. The smoke detector in the bedroom is chirping. But the wifi is good. Beds seem ok. Kitchen is large, and has a full range not that I need it, but no microwave, that I could use.
Its a nice little cheep motel not bad for the money
Excellent Service, Clean Room, Nice Continental Breakfast Included! Nice Gentleman (Staff) even got My Coffee this Morning. :-)
